The work you see was created on unstretched canvas using acrylic paint and other mixed media materials. They were exhibited at Vertigo Theatre in Calgary Canada during the performances of “Heist”, January - March 2024.
  Using deep bold colors with the addition of gold and silver leaf.  With Las Vegas in mind during their creation, I have suggested, luxury, jewels, sunsets, casinos, water, and the intense heat, sun or otherwise with the use of shape, line, and color.  Vegas is an attraction for the wealthy and those not so wealthy, offering extravagance in both entertainment and luxury.  The deep dark casinos that never turn off, open doors, split between night and day.  Make for a perfect escape or heist, win, or lose.
